9.4.4 Survey in the disposal facility IZOTOP
For the disposal site, measurement coverage included the top caps/covers of the individual disposal cells, as well as the access roads surrounding the disposal cells. Maps providing the measurement transect paths with geo-located gamma dose rate measurement data is provided in figures a through c. None of the measurements exceeded 1000 nSv/hr, which is the gamma dose rate accepted for occupational exposure within the limited access areas of the waste storage facility.
